A signet ring is personal. It's a canvas for your story, a surface that will carry your history. This expertly crafted piece is meticulously hand-carved from wax to achieve precise detail, ready to become an heirloom.
I carved this signet in wax in my Jackson Hole studio, then worked with my trusted casting and plating partners to transform it into sterling silver and finish it with luxurious 24-karat gold vermeil and a 14-karat flash. The result combines durability with refined elegance, a timeless statement piece that balances classic craftsmanship with modern sophistication. The smooth face awaits your personal touch, whether engraved or left pristine.
Materials & Craftsmanship:
Sterling silver base (925 silver, the highest quality standard)
24-karat gold vermeil plating (2.5 microns thick) for rich, warm color
14-karat gold flash finish to lighten the tone and strengthen durability
This layered plating technique combines the luxurous warmth of pure gold with the everyday wearability of 14k, creating a finish that's both beautiful and built to last

The Story
Signet rings have been worn for thousands of years, used to seal documents, to mark ownership, to signify family lineage. This modern interpretation honors that history while bringing it into the present.
I designed this signet with a smooth, substantial face that can be left as is or engraved with initials, symbols, or designs that matter to you. The lost wax casting process ensures the proportions are perfect, the weight is balanced, the feel is substantial without being overwhelming.
But here's what's interesting: more people are choosing to leave it blank. Not because they haven't decided what to engrave—but because the blank surface is a statement in itself. It's a rejection of rigid hierarchies, a minimalist aesthetic, a canvas for self-styled identity rather than inherited family legacy.
Leaving it blank is a sharp pivot from tradition, making the lack of engraving a deliberate design choice rather than an unfinished piece.
Of course, you can still engrave it. Customers have added everything from initials to coordinates, from family crests to personal mantras. Either way, it becomes deeply personal.
The size 5 makes it perfect for pinky wear or for those with smaller fingers who want a statement ring on their ring finger. It's become a favorite for gifts, especially for milestones and achievements.
Care Instructions
Your Signet Ring is built for generations with proper care:
Daily Wear:
✅ Vermeil is durable and tarnish-resistant, but remove during activities that could scratch or impact the ring (heavy lifting, rock climbing, etc.)
✅ Safe for everyday wear, but avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, and saltwater
Cleaning:
✅ Gently wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing
✅ For deeper cleaning, use warm water and mild soap, then pat dry immediately
Storage:
✅ Store in a cool, dry place (jewelry box or pouch)
✅ Keep away from direct sunlight and humidity
Engraving:
✅ If you choose to engrave, the vermeil finish will show the silver beneath. This creates a beautiful contrast and is intentional.
✅ Engraving services available—contact me for details
Re-Plating:
✅ Complimentary re-plating within 6 months for Stone + Salt vermeil pieces
✅ Small re-plating fee after 6 months (reach out anytime!)
Note: Custom solid gold pieces require minimal maintenance and can be engraved without revealing a different metal beneath.
