This adjustable cuff brings the fluidity of waves to an open, versatile design. Hand-sculpted from 14/20 gold-filled wire into organic wave forms, each curve captures the rhythm of surf breaking on shore.
For the landlocked surfer, the mountain dweller who dreams of the coast, the traveler who carries the ocean wherever they go—this cuff is your daily reminder that the pull of the tide is always with you.
The open design allows for easy adjustment, fitting most wrist sizes comfortably. The substantial weight feels intentional, grounding, like the pull of the tide. Unlike vermeil or plated jewelry, the thick gold layer of gold fill means this piece will maintain its warm luster through years of daily wear, adventure, and everything in between.

The Story
For the Landlocked Surfer
This cuff was made for the landlocked surfer.
The one who closes their eyes and can still feel the pull of the tide. The one who watches surf videos on repeat, who plans their next coastal escape, who carries the ocean with them even when they're 1,000 miles inland.
I get it. I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, surrounded by mountains, not waves. But the ocean calls to me the same way it calls to you. The rhythm of the surf. The way a wave builds, curls, and breaks. The calming effect of watching the horizon meet the water. That feeling of being grounded and free at the same time.
I wanted to capture that feeling in something you could wear every day. Something that would bring you back to the shore, even when you're landlocked.
I hand-sculpted the original wave form, then created a custom press form to shape each cuff from 14/20 gold-filled wire. Using a hydraulic press, I form each wave with precision and intention, ensuring every curve captures the rhythm of the ocean. The result is a piece that's both consistent in quality and unique in character.
Gold fill was the only choice for this piece. I wanted something that could handle your life: hikes, travel, daily wear, the kind of adventures that fill the space between surf trips. Gold fill delivers that durability without compromise. It won't tarnish, won't wear through, won't quit on you.
This cuff is part of the Ocean Dreaming Line, a collection for those of us who live for the water but don't always live near it.
Wear it as a reminder: The ocean is always with you. You just have to close your eyes and feel the pull.
Care Instructions
Why Gold Fill is Different
Your wave cuff is crafted from 14/20 gold fill, which means it has a thick layer of 14-karat gold mechanically bonded to a base metal core (typically brass). Unlike gold plating or vermeil, gold fill contains 100 times more gold and won't wear off, peel, or tarnish under normal wear.
Daily Care
Wear it often. Gold fill thrives with regular wear. The natural oils from your skin help maintain its luster.
Clean gently. Wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth after wearing. For deeper cleaning, use warm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Avoid harsh chemicals. Remove before swimming in chlorinated pools, using household cleaners, or applying lotions, perfumes, and sunscreen. Apply beauty products first, then put on your jewelry.
Store thoughtfully. Keep in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box when not wearing. Store separately from other pieces to prevent scratching.
Adjusting Your Cuff
Your cuff is designed to be gently adjustable for a custom fit. To adjust:
Hold the cuff at both ends
Apply gentle, even pressure to open or close
Adjust in small increments
Important: Avoid over-adjusting or bending aggressively. Like all metal, repeated stress can cause fatigue and eventual breakage. Find your ideal fit and leave it there.
What to Expect Over Time
Gold fill is incredibly durable, but it's not indestructible. With proper care, your cuff will maintain its beauty for decades. You may notice:
Slight patina in crevices (this adds character and depth to the wave texture)
Minor surface scratches (these can be buffed out by a jeweler or add to the piece's story)
