THE STORY BEHIND THIS PIECE
This bangle was born on a beach in Charleston, SC, watching waves roll in and crash against the shore. I was mesmerized by the way water moves—never the same twice, always fluid, always powerful.
Back in the studio, I hand-sculpted gold-filled wire into organic wave forms, trying to capture that perpetual motion. Once I had a design I loved, I created a mold and began casting it in sterling silver. The vermeil finish (thick 24kt gold with a 14kt flash) gives it that warm, sun-on-water glow.
The bangle is substantial but not heavy, bold but not overwhelming. It slides over your wrist and becomes part of you—a reminder of ocean rhythms, coastal calm, the pull of the tide.
